Mark Ford CNZM BA

Chief Executive
 
Mark Ford is the Chief Executive of Watercare Services Limited. He held the role from 1994 to June 2009 and was reappointed following the company's expansion to include retail operations.
 
Prior to the creation of the Auckland Council, Watercare provided Auckland's bulk water and wastewater services to the public through various local network operators. The company is now proud to supply services direct to around 1.3 million customers across the wider Auckland area. Each day Watercare supplies around 370 million litres of drinking water and treats around 350 million litres of wastewater and trade waste.
 
Mark Ford is an experienced chief executive, director and chairman who has worked in the water, forestry, transport and petroleum industries. From July 2009 until his reappointment to Watercare he was the Executive Chairman of the Auckland Transition Agency, the government agency responsible for planning and managing the transition to Auckland's new governance arrangements. Mark Ford currently serves as Independent Chair of the Christchurch Client Governance Group for the Infrastructure Rebuild, is Chair of Solid Energy Limited and a member of the Public Service Advisory Board.
 
 


Brian Monk B Com ACA

Chief Financial Officer  
 
Brian Monk is a chartered accountant with 40 years experience in corporate financial management. He was appointed to the role of Chief Financial Officer in November 2010. Brian has previously held senior financial management roles with Auckland Regional Council, Fletcher Energy, Air New Zealand, and with U.S. multinational S.C Johnson & Son. 
 
 
 
Trish Langridge MBA Diploma of Nursing
Chief Services Officer
 
Trish is an experienced general manager who has worked in both the health and local government sectors. Her responsibilities include customer services, human resources and property. Trish developed and implemented the customer services function of the Auckland Council.
 


Graham Wood MIM BA (Hons) FIE (Aust) MCIWEM CPEng (Aust) CPEng (UK)

Chief Infrastructure Officer 
 
Graham Wood is a chartered mechanical engineer with 20 years’ experience in the water industry across four continents. He is a former General Manager of Operations for Watercare and is currently responsible for the company’s major infrastructure projects, new developments and energy and control systems.



David Worsnop BE (Hons)
 
Chief Operations Officer
 
David has over 35 years experience working in a range of infrastructure, power generation and primary industries. David was Group General Manager (Operations) at Vector from 2008 to 2012, and prior to this held a number of senior roles including New Zealand CEO of Hastie Group; Executive General Manager at Transfield Services Electrical Mechanical and Power, covering New Zealand and Australia; and management roles at industrial group SGS.   
  
 
Rob Fisher LLB, Dip TP
General Counsel
 
Rob is a barrister who has specialised in resource management, public law and local government law. As a litigator he appeared frequently before the Environment Court, the High Court and the Court of Appeal. In a 40 year legal career he has provided strategic advice and expertise to both private and public bodies, especially in the consenting of large infrastructure projects. He was contracted to the Auckland Transition Agency as legal counsel from July 2009 to November 2010. Rob was 2010 Barrister of the Year in the New Zealand Law Awards. 



David Hawkins MPP TTC JP

Corporate Relations Manager
 
David Hawkins’ responsibilities include government and community relations. David has a background in sales and marketing management for New Zealand and global brands and has a strong commitment to local government and community engagement.  He has previously served as an Auckland Regional Councillor and is a former Mayor of Papakura District Council.
 


David Sellars BCA CA

Risk and Assurance Manager
 
David Sellars is a chartered accountant with experience in banking and audit functions. He has previously been responsible for risk assurance, reporting on the internal control environment and governance of major projects. As the Risk and Assurance Manager, David is responsible for internal audit, risk management and health and safety.
