Accreditation

Watercare Laboratory Services is IANZ accredited to NZS/ISO/IEC 17025. This accreditation ensures that our laboratory meets stringent international standards of technical competence, reliability and quality management.

Major internal audits are carried out on an annual basis with audits of targeted areas being carried out monthly. In addition, internationally recognised scientists on a regular basis audit Watercare Laboratories. Previously Montgomery Waston Laboratories (USA) were invited to audit the laboratory procedures.

The laboratory is registered with the Ministry of Health as an approved laboratory for testing potable water to confirm compliance with the New Zealand Drinking Water Standards 2005 (revised 2008).
