This section allows local board members and members of the community to keep up to date with projects and activities we have underway in this particular local board area.
We have a wastewater treatment plant at Owhanake that services part of the township of Oneroa. High quality treated wastewater is discharged into an adjacent wetland and then into Matiatia Bay. The treatment plant was last upgraded in 2018, and the resource consent allows for a further staged upgrade. The service area remains limited to the Oneroa area.
