Central Interceptor
Over the next four years we’re building the Central Interceptor tunnel from Grey Lynn to our Māngere Wastewater Treatment Plant. Once completed, it will help reduce wet weather overflows into central Auckland beaches waterways and onto beaches.

St Marys Bay separation project
A water quality improvement programme to reduce overflows and clean up local waterways.

Hūnua 4 watermain
This 31km pipeline through Manukau and Auckland will meet growing demand.

Grey Lynn Tunnel
The Grey Lynn Tunnel is designed to intercept and divert overflows from local networks in Grey Lynn and the Orakei main sewer. The wastewater will be transported through the proposed tunnel via the Central Interceptor to our wastewater plant in Māngere for treatment.
