The project

We are building a new larger 1.75 km wastewater pipeline from Windsor Park along Centorian Drive and Apollo Drive to Rosedale Wastewater Treatment Plant. This new pipeline together with the Sidmouth Pump Station upgrade (currently in construction) will contribute to increasing the wastewater transmission capacity in the East Coast Bays catchment. It will also cater for growth and help eliminate overflows.

Traffic management

From 15 April – mid May we will be working on reinstating the footpath and pedestrian crossing on Apollo Drive. This work will cause temporary traffic disruption along Apollo Drive and surrounding streets. You may notice the following temporary changes during the works:

  • Speed limit will be reduced to 30km

  • Reduced on street parking

  • Reduce lane width

  • Stop/go traffic control systems in operation

  • Closed footpaths – please use the pedestrian detours in place
