Minimum standards and expectations of our suppliers
We are committed to ensuring great outcomes for our customers and communities, whilst maintaining an inclusive, fair, safe, responsible and sustainable approach to business. Our supplier code of conduct provides the minimum standards and expectations of suppliers providing goods, services or works to us.
The Code is based on seven principles:
- Customer and community
- Health, safety and security
- Te whai rawa – the prosperity and well-being of Māori
- Human rights and workplace conditions
- Environmental sustainability
- Business resilience
- Ethical business
All suppliers are required to acknowledge The Code as part of their onboarding, and are expected to ensure that where applicable their business operations are aligned to the principles.
