Water transmission standards

About these standards

The water transmission system covers the bulk conveyance of water to reservoir storage or to bulk supply points across the Auckland region. It includes water storage dams, the abstraction of water from rivers and wells, and the pipe systems taking untreated water to the water treatment facilities.

Customers are not typically supplied directly from transmission systems.
