Project overview
We are installing a new bulk supply point (BSP) at the Quarry Road and Great South Road Intersection as part of a wider plan to build a resilient and integrated water network. Once complete, the new BSP will allow more water to be distributed through the network, supporting current and future growth in Drury South, Wesley and Paerata. It will also help us to manage the flows, regulate pressure in the network and test the quality of the water.
How will this affect you?
Works to install the new BSP will take place in the berm at the Quarry Road and Great South Road Intersection.
To keep our team safe while they work, an approved traffic management plan will be in place. You may notice the following temporary changes:
- Stop/go systems
- Reduced lane widths
- Reduced speed limits
