Watercare workers at the Mangere Wastewater Treatment Plant

Each day, we provide lifeline services to 1.7 million Aucklanders.

We are New Zealand's largest company in the water and wastewater industry. We supply more than 400 million litres of water to Auckland every day.

We draw water from 27 sources, treat it and supply it to homes and businesses via a vast network of pipes. We collect, treat and dispose of around 409 million litres of wastewater daily, including trade waste from industry. We also carry out significant work to upgrade and build infrastructure, so that we can maintain levels of service and provide capacity for a fast-growing population.
