Election Hub 2025
The hub for access to relevant information during the election period.

As a public utility, we are required to ensure equal access to information about our activities for all candidates seeking election or re-election. The purpose of this page is to provide access to information that may not already be publicly available but would typically be shared with incumbent elected members. By doing so, we aim to ensure that all candidates have fair and consistent access to relevant information during the election period.
If you are a candidate and would like to receive this information directly or have questions about any of this content, please contact us directly at [email protected]
General updates

Watercare’s Metropolitan Servicing Strategy engagement reports from our consultation (March–June 2025) are now available on the Metropolitan Servicing Strategy webpage.
These reports outline the public engagement activities we’ve undertaken and highlight the key insights gained from our conversations with communities.
Why this matters:
These documents capture the feedback and insights shared by our communities. They show how community voices will help shape the strategy and provide a clear record of what we’ve heard.
What you can find in the documents:
- Summary engagement report: A concise overview of key themes and insights from community feedback.
- Full engagement report: A detailed account of submissions and discussions, providing context and depth behind the summary (within this report you will find Local Board feedback reference - Appendix F, page 59).
A big thank you to the nine local boards who chose to give us feedback, for supporting this part of the journey. These documents will serve as a key supporting artefacts for our Metropolitan Servicing Strategy.
Next steps:
- We will be sharing the engagement report with the 230 members of the public who opted in for regular updates.
- We are finalising the draft Metropolitan Servicing Strategy in preparation to share with local boards and for wider public engagement in 2026.
