Request a refund

It’s a good idea to check whether your next bill is due within 14 days, and has a debit balance.  You may want to leave the money in your account, to reduce the amount to pay.

How to request a refund:

There are three ways you can request a refund:

1. Download and sign the refund request form

  • Scan and email it to info@water.co.nz

  • Or post it to Watercare, Private Bag 94010, Auckland, 2241

2. Use MyAccount

  • Log in and click ‘Accounts’ in the top bar. Look for the ‘Account balance’ column. If your account is in credit for $20 or more, the link will show for ‘Request a refund’.

​3. Phone us on (09) 442 2222, press 2.
