What to do when you move in or out
When you move in or out, your landlord or property manager is responsible for letting us know.
You need to cancel any automatic payments or other bill payments you have set up for Watercare.
To cancel direct debit, please contact your bank.
To cancel a recurring credit card payment, phone us on (09) 442 2222, press 2. You need to cancel any automatic payments or other bill payments you have set up for Watercare. Otherwise the payments will continue to be automatically withdrawn.
At the beginning and end of each tenancy it is a good idea to agree with your landlord on how to do the first and final readings of the water meter. This ensures each person pays only for the water they use.
