Direct debit is the easiest way to pay your bill
On the due date, we withdraw the amount owing on your water account.
Use MyAccount and select 'Pay a bill/Direct debit' and follow the steps.
Log in Register
Call us on (09) 442 2222, press 2, and we will arrange it for you.
Download and complete the direct debit form. Scan and email it to us, or mail it. Contact details are on the form.
Direct debit terms and conditions
There are three options for updating your direct debit details:
Call us on (09) 442 2222, press 2.
Email firstname.lastname@example.org Please specify the Watercare account number for the direct debit you want to cancel.
Use MyAccount: Click ‘Accounts’ in the top bar. Find the account and click ‘Show more’. Look for the ‘Direct debit’ column. Click ‘Edit details’ and follow the steps.
To cancel a direct debit authority, please phone us on (09) 442 2222, press 2.
To cancel a recurring credit card, please contact your bank.
There is no option to cancel these payments online through MyAccount.
Reading out the terms and conditions is a legal requirement. If you have gone through this process before, we don’t need to repeat it – our call centre team will ask you first. If you prefer, you can:
Download and complete the direct debit form, and send it to us, or
Set up direct debit via MyAccount: just log in or register
You will need to tick the box to show you have read the terms and conditions.
Make sure your bank account supports direct debit – you will need to discuss this with your bank.
