Set up direct debit

On the due date, we withdraw the amount owing on your water account.  

Here are the ways to set it up: 

  1. Use MyAccount and select 'Pay a bill/Direct debit' and follow the steps.

Update your details

There are three options for updating your direct debit details:

  1. Call us on (09) 442 2222, press 2.

  2. Email [email protected]    Please specify the Watercare account number for the direct debit you want to cancel.

  3. Use MyAccount: Click ‘Accounts’ in the top bar. Find the account and click ‘Show more’. Look for the ‘Direct debit’ column. Click ‘Edit details’ and follow the steps.


Cancel direct debit or recurring payment 

  • To cancel a direct debit authority, please phone us on (09) 442 2222, press 2.

  • To cancel a recurring credit card, please contact your bank.

There is no option to cancel these payments online through MyAccount.
