Reporting a leak or a fault

While Auckland is at the orange setting in the COVID-19 traffic light system, our crews are maintaining contact tracing, and adhering to health and safety processes when completing all work. They’ll be working in bubbles and wearing masks. We’d prefer that you don’t approach them when they’re on site, but if you really need a brief chat, please wear a mask and maintain a safe social distance of two metres.

Before you report a fault, please follow the steps below.

Step 1: Check our current outages page which lists our current known large scale faults.
Step 2: Report a fault via our LiveChat function. From 8am-7pm Monday to Friday and 8.30am-5pm Saturday and Sunday, you can report a fault using the 'chat with us' bubble found at the bottom of this page.
Step 3: Make sure you tell us the size, scale and impact of the leak/fault. Photos are very helpful.

If you require an immediate response, please call us on (09) 442 2222 and press 1.
